It plugs in at the accelerator pedal connector on the Ford Tourneo Custom 2023–on, and takes about 15 minutes to fit with no permanent modification to the vehicle.

What it actually does
The EVC changes the torque request sent to the throttle tables in your ECU. The throttle opens sooner for the same pedal travel, which is what removes the dead spot. It does not remap the engine, does not add power, and Factory mode puts everything back to standard whenever you want it.
