Genuine Ultimate9 stock, supplied as an authorised Australian dealer. 30-day money-back guarantee and a limited lifetime replacement warranty. Plugs in at the accelerator pedal, about 15 minutes to fit, and Factory mode returns the car to standard whenever you want.
If your Genesis GV80 2021–on feels doughy off the line and you find yourself burying the pedal just to get moving, that is throttle lag — the delay between your foot and the signal reaching the engine. The Ultimate9 EVC607L removes it.
It plugs in at the accelerator pedal connector on the Genesis GV80 2021–on, and takes about 15 minutes to fit with no permanent modification to the vehicle.
Four driving modes
- Ultimate — nine levels of increased throttle response.
- Economy — softer response for better fuel consumption.
- Automatic — adapts to how you are driving.
- Factory — standard settings, exactly as the car left the factory.
Twenty tuning settings across the four modes, so you can set it once and forget it or change it to suit the drive — towing, sand, traffic, open road.
What it actually does
The EVC changes the torque request sent to the throttle tables in your ECU. The throttle opens sooner for the same pedal travel, which is what removes the dead spot. It does not remap the engine, does not add power, and Factory mode puts everything back to standard whenever you want it.
Free faceplate in your choice of colour
Every EVC comes with a white interface as standard. Choose any faceplate colour on this page and we will pack it with your controller free of charge — normally $7.50. Faceplates suit the EVC only; they do not fit the evcX.

Same part number, same controller. If your vehicle is on this list, this is the right unit.

Why buy your Ultimate9 from Racing Solutions
Authorised Australian Ultimate9 dealer. Genuine stock, and over 20 years of hands-on trade experience behind every recommendation. We will tell you which controller suits your car, and when you do not need one.
Ultimate9 buying information
EVC or evcX — which one do I need?
Both remove throttle lag on the same vehicles. The difference is the interface and the number of modes.
EVC — four modes: Ultimate (nine levels), Economy, Automatic and Factory. Twenty tuning settings. Takes a coloured faceplate, which we include free.
evcX — nine modes, adding Ultimate9, Anti-Slip, Launch, Valet and Lock-out. Bluetooth control through the Ultimate9 TC app, a self-dimming OLED display, dual USB-C ports and a driver interface that unplugs and comes out of the car. Faceplates do not fit the evcX.
If you want the simplest thing that fixes the lag, the EVC does it. If you want Launch and Anti-Slip, phone control, or the security of removing the interface and locking the throttle, that is the evcX.
Is this the right unit for my car?
One part number covers a lot of vehicles, so the list on this page is worth opening — if your car is named there, this is the correct unit.
Fitment is by drive-by-wire accelerator pedal, not by engine, so petrol and diesel versions of the same model usually take the same controller. Some models changed pedal connector partway through a generation, which is why the year range matters.
If your car is not listed, or you are between year ranges, send us the make, model, build date and body code and we will confirm the part number before you buy.
Free faceplate — EVC only
Every EVC comes with a white interface as standard. Choose any faceplate colour on an EVC product page and we pack it with your controller free of charge — normally $7.50 each.
Faceplates are an EVC part. They do not fit the evcX, which has a different display and housing.
Extra faceplates can be bought separately at any time if you want to change the look later.

Ultimate9 controllers carry a 30-day money-back guarantee and a limited lifetime replacement warranty.
If something goes wrong, contact us with your order number and we will start the process for you rather than sending you away to chase it yourself.
Installation
The controller plugs in at the accelerator pedal connector. No cutting, no splicing, and nothing permanent — it can be unplugged and the car returned to standard at any time.
Most installs take about 15 minutes. The unit is programmable for both automatic and manual transmissions.
It does not remap the engine and does not add power. What it changes is how quickly the throttle opens for a given amount of pedal, which is the dead spot people feel off the line and when towing.
