The evcX pairs to the Ultimate9 TC app on iOS and Android, so modes, sensitivity levels and saved favourites can be set from your phone instead of a small screen. The unit itself carries an OLED display that self-dims as the light changes, and dual USB-C ports with a range of mounting options.
The interface unplugs and comes out of the car, leaving the controller in whatever mode it was last set to. Combined with Lock-out mode, that is a real deterrent — an unfamiliar driver gets no throttle at all.
