T5 Counter Shaft Cluster Support / Steel Retainer.

The factory countershaft retainer is a weak point of the T5. It does not support the bearing and is subject to flexing. This causes misalignment of the countershaft and main shaft resulting in gear breakages.

Our upgraded and much stronger unit and is a must for all T5 rebuilds.

Comes with 4 high tensile countersunk bolts - Torque setting 15ft/lb. Use Loctite.

The retainer has been designed to use the original shim, depending on its thickness you may have to machine it to size. This can easily be done with on a flat surface with 80 grit sand paper.
