We stock World Class T5 parts in Australia. This is our own stock, sitting on our shelf in Perth — not a supplier drop-ship. If it is listed, we have it.

If you've pulled a T5 apart and found rounded heads, rusted threads, a couple of bolts that don't match, or some missing altogether, this kit replaces the lot in one hit. No sorting through the bolt bin trying to match lengths.

T5s have usually been apart before. By the time one reaches the bench, the bolts are often a mix of whatever the last person had on hand, and a worn or wrong-length bolt in an alloy case is how threads get pulled. A fresh set of the right bolts is cheap insurance on a rebuild.

What's in the kit

  • 8 × M6 flanged: top cover (shifter cover to case)
  • 8 × M10 flanged: extension housing to case
  • 4 × M8 flanged: front bearing retainer
  • 4 × M8 flanged: shifter

24 bolts in total. All are grade 8.8, flanged, with the same size heads as the originals, so your usual sockets fit and the flange spreads the clamping load on the alloy.

Not included

The top cover locating bolts aren't part of this kit. They're usually reusable, but if yours are damaged or missing, get in touch and we'll sort you out.

Fitment

Suits all Tremec / Borg Warner World Class T5 gearboxes, including Ford Falcon, Holden Commodore and Mustang applications. Every World Class T5 uses the same case bolts.

Fitting tips

  • Clean the threads in the case before fitting. A thread chaser beats a tap, because a tap will remove alloy.
  • Use sealant on the top cover and extension housing faces, and thread sealant on any bolt that breaks through into the case.
  • Torque in a cross pattern, and don't overdo it on the M6 top cover bolts. They're easy to pull in alloy.

Does this fit my T5?

Almost certainly, yes. Our World Class T5 parts suit the T5 as fitted to Australian-delivered Ford Falcons — XF, XG, XH, EA, EB, ED, EF, EL, AU and BA, in both six-cylinder and V8 — and Holden Commodore VN through VS, six-cylinder and V8. They also suit TVR and Sierra Cosworth T5 applications.

The one exception is the input shaft pocket bearing. Two types were fitted to the World Class T5 and they are not interchangeable, so that is the one thing worth checking before you order. Here is how to identify yours in two minutes.

Stock and availability

We hold World Class T5 parts in stock in Perth. If a part is listed on the site, it is on the shelf.

Parts that are out of stock are taken off the site rather than left listed, so you will not order something and then be told it is on back order.

Gearsets are the exception — allow around a week for dispatch on those.

Dispatch and delivery

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days and posted from Perth, Western Australia.

Shipping is charged on the weight of your order, so small parts ship cheaply and you are not paying a flat rate for a seal.

Heavy items such as gearsets go by standard post only. If you need one urgently, get in touch and we will quote express.

Rebuild services carry a 90 day warranty on workmanship.
